Jacob Fatu’s recent impact on The Bloodline has helped give the faction renewed momentum, and one other member of the Anoa’i family could eventually join the image.
In response to a report from TRNBCKL Gold, WWE has maintained interest in Zilla Fatu for quite a while. While there are currently no signs that a deal or debut is across the corner, those acquainted with the situation say he stays a reputation value watching moving forward.
The report comes as WWE continues to focus heavily on Roman Reigns’ latest run with The Bloodline. Company sources have indicated that Reigns’ reign as World Heavyweight Champion on RAW is anticipated to proceed for the foreseeable future, with officials said to be very glad with how his post-WrestleMania 42 run has unfolded.
Internally, Jacob Fatu’s arrival has reportedly been viewed as a serious shot within the arm for the storyline, helping refresh a faction that has dominated WWE television for years. Due to that, speculation surrounding a possible future role for Zilla Fatu has naturally increased.
Zilla Fatu, who’s the son of the late Umaga, has built a following outside of WWE while openly expressing his goal of creating his own legacy within the wrestling business. WWE’s interest in him is claimed to be nothing latest, but the newest update stands out given the corporate’s renewed commitment to The Bloodline angle.
At this point, there isn’t any indication that Zilla is headed to WWE anytime soon.
