Uorfi Javed On ‘Icon’ Rakhi Sawant
Speaking of what she likes about Rakhi Sawant, Uorfi Javed said, “She’s an icon, bro. Bro, I like her. Bahut baar mere saath aisa hua hai ki kuch log, ya kuch guys jinko fundamental date kar rahi thi ya unke friends, they used to look down upon me and say, ‘My God, she’s just like the equivalent of Rakhi Sawant.’ Toh maine kaha, ‘Haan toh? Kya buri baat hai?’ Rakhi Sawant jitna kama ke dikha do. Uske jitna kaam karke dikha do.”
She continued, “Matlab, they used to place me down by comparing me to Rakhi Sawant. But I’m like, ‘Bro, tu hi bewakoof hai jo mujhe Rakhi se compare kar raha hai,’ kyunki mere liye toh yeh compliment hai. Itne saal ho gaye hain. Ek consistency toh usse seekho. Aaj tak bandi ne hand over nahi kiya. Aur fundamental tumhe bataun, purani Rakhi Sawant aur is saal wali Rakhi Sawant mein bahut difference hai.”

The actress said, “Purani Rakhi Sawant bhi entertaining thi, lekin woh kaafi roti thi aur emotional ho jaati thi. Lekin is saal wali Rakhi Sawant, her unhinged version- wahi mujhe encourage kar rahi hai. Principal kehti hoon, ‘Bro, take a look at her!’ Woh bilkul unapologetic hai. Agar kisi ne usko love ya relationship mein hurt kiya hai, toh uska attitude hai, ‘Tu apne pe dhyaan de.’ She doesn’t even care about politicians or anyone else. She just says whatever she wants. Ab toh gaali bhi full-on de deti hai. Kisi ne kuch bola, toh turant jawab. Aur I swear to God, woh cheez meri exact personality ban gayi hai. Koi mujhe kuch bhi bolta hai, ya kehta hai, ‘Tu aisi dikh rahi hai,’ toh fundamental kehti hoon, ‘Teri maa aisi dikhti hogi.’ Meri personality straight away mainly Rakhi Sawant copy hai.’
She concluded, “I feel I’m attempting to inculcate as much Rakhi Sawant into myself as I can. She is my spirit animal straight away. Even jab woh pehle roti thi, tab bhi mujhe lagta hai ki usne life ke kuch sabse iconic moments diye hain. That’s iconic. But now, she’s inspiring. Ab woh inspiring hai. Mujhe lagta hai heartbreak aur dhokha khaane ke baad woh aur bhi strong hokar wapas aayi hai. She went to Dubai because she couldn’t stay here for some time, but she got here back even greater and higher. Ab woh bilkul unhinged hai. She just doesn’t care anymore. Ab koi rona-dhona nahi hai kisi aadmi ke liye. Ab uska attitude hai, ‘Mujhe mard chahiye hi nahi.’ And truthfully, that’s such an inspiring thing.”
