WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff believes TNA Wrestling has taken a big step backward, saying the promotion is now “one step closer to the grave” amid recent setbacks.
Speaking on a recent edition of his “83 Weeks” podcast, Bischoff addressed TNA’s recent struggles, including workforce reductions, talent departures, and the exit of creative head Tommy Dreamer. His comments marked a notable shift from his stance in July 2025, when he predicted that TNA would surpass AEW because the world’s second-largest wrestling promotion by this point in 2026.
On the time, Bischoff felt TNA’s partnership with WWE and its television take care of AMC had positioned the corporate for major growth. Nevertheless, with rumors swirling a couple of possible sale and the promotion facing mounting challenges, he admitted he now not sees that final result as realistic.
