Kehlani Continues To Dominate The Yr With ‘Folded’

Though ‘Folded’ stays on replay, Kehlani still couldn’t consider she took home the award for Best Female R&B Pop/Artist. She kept it 100 with fans, telling them “she was too mind blown for words.” Kehlani snagged the award right after she performed her hit record on stage alongside Jamie Foxx, who played the piano, and his daughter Annalise Bishop, who held it down on the guitar.

Leon Thomas Continues To Hold The R&B Crown

At this point, it’s Leon Thomas’ world and we’re just living in it. Leon took home the BET Award for Best Male R&B/Pop Artist. He went up against a stacked lineup of nominees including Chris Brown, Bryson Tiller, Usher, October London, Bruno Mars, Brent Faiyaz, Durand Bernarr, and Givẽon. Leon keeps racking up wins this yr, previously securing two Grammys for Best R&B Album and Best Traditional R&B Performance back in February.

Doechii & SZA Served Up Black Girl Magic

Doechii and SZA served duo goals as they stepped up to just accept to the 2026 BET Her Award for his or her joint single ‘Girl, Get Up.’ They surprised fans with the track once they dropped it at the top of 2025. The record served as a finale for Doechii’s ‘Swamp Sessions.’

Janet Jackson Presents Teyana Taylor With The Icon Award

BET honored her for her multi-hyphenate profession across music, film, fashion, and culture.
