Wren Sinclair Celebrates WWE Title Defense With Some Gay Pride

Wren Sinclair brought a colourful tribute to Pride Month to NXT: Great American Bash for her first WWE Women’s Speed Championship defense.

Sinclair, who won the WWE Women’s Speed Championship from Fallon Henley in March 2026, made her first title defense 104 days later at NXT: Great American Bash against Arianna Grace. Grace earned the championship opportunity by defeating Izzi Dame within the finals of a No. 1 Contender’s Tournament.

Sinclair successfully retained the title by forcing Grace to undergo the Final Wrench. After the match, she took to Twitter to highlight her ring gear, which featured vibrant rainbow colours inspired by each Pride Month and the enduring Rainbow Road course from the Mario Kart series. She wrote,

“Took the Rainbow Road to #NXTGAB. Joyful Pride.”

Sinclair’s successful title defense was one in all several championship matches on the show. Zaria retained the NXT Women’s North American Championship against Tatum Paxley, Myles Borne defeated Tavion Heights to maintain the NXT North American Championship, and Tony D’Angelo successfully defended the NXT Championship against Naraku.

The night’s primary event saw Kendal Grey defeat Lola Vice to capture the NXT Women’s Championship, with Sinclair also playing a task within the championship bout.
