The speculation surrounding a possible WWE return for Baron Corbin continues, and the previous WWE star has once more weighed in on the reports.
In line with a report from Fightful Select, Corbin — real name Tom Pestock — finished up with Major League Wrestling (MLW) following the promotion’s event in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on May 9, fueling further belief that he’s WWE-bound.
Corbin, nonetheless, appears unfazed by the newest wave of speculation. Taking to Twitter, he reacted to the reports by reminding fans that similar rumors surfaced just weeks ago. He wrote,
“Didn’t we do that very same thing last month?”
This isn’t the primary time Corbin has dismissed reports of an imminent WWE comeback, having previously denied the rumors once they first emerged.
Corbin departed WWE in late 2024 after the corporate selected to not renew his contract. Since then, he has remained lively on the independent wrestling scene, making his post-WWE debut against Josh Barnett at GCW Bloodsport before competing for promotions including Adrenaline Championship Wrestling, Banger Zone Wrestling, and House of Glory.
During his stint in MLW, Corbin teamed with Donovan Dijak as The Skyscrapers, with the duo capturing the MLW World Tag Team Championships.
