Inside WWE, there was reportedly widespread support for Sami Zayn capturing the Undisputed WWE Championship, with many talents each inside and out of doors the corporate said to be pleased with the choice. While there had been some concern backstage that Zayn could lose the title to Brock Lesnar before SummerSlam 2026, Fightful Select is reporting that such a title change shouldn’t be currently planned.
Before suffering her recent injury, Rhea Ripley was reportedly being considered for a SummerSlam 2026 match against either Alexa Bliss or Jacy Jayne.
