Conor McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh has told followers that he’s ‘devastated’ after his charge suffered yet one more injury last night.

Legendary two-weight world champion McGregor had spent five years on the sidelines after suffering a gruesome broken leg in a trilogy with Dustin Poirier. He returned within the major event of UFC 329 against Max Holloway, but appeared to suffer one other disaster injury inside the opening exchange.

Kavanagh has been cornering McGregor since his days as a young fighter and oversaw all of his best moments. He has also been there for all of his profession defeats including tonight, and spoke in regards to the camp in a Facebook post.

“I used to be throwing kicks, planted and jumping, all throughout camp in addition to backstage before the fight. This got here out of nowhere. I’m beyond dark here. I can only describe it as hell.”
