While talking to Pinkvilla about this recent phase of her life, Samantha – who announced her pregnancy throughout the promotions of Maa Inti Bangaaram, said, “It’s definitely recent and exciting. But I’ve been waiting for this moment for some time now. I’ve all the time desired to be a mother. So I do know that I’ll be giving this my all.”
The ‘Theri’ actress continued, “I’ve all the time been obsessed with the whole lot in life. But now I feel I carry a distinct, recent type of strength and purpose in me. I’m looking forward to this journey loads. And I’m stuffed with gratitude, learning every single day, and on the brink of embrace whatever comes next.”

Rumours of Samantha being pregnant first made headlines when fans noticed what seemed to be a baby bump throughout the promotions of Maa Inti Bangaaram. Some time later, Samantha confirmed the news and officially announced her pregnancy on the film’s success meet. During this event, she also revealed that she can be taking a transient maternity break after completing all her current commitments. This shall be Samantha’s first child.
