On July 17, WWE filed to trademark the term “Kyoki.”

“IC 041: Entertainment services, namely, wrestling exhibitions and performances by an expert wrestler and entertainer rendered live and thru broadcast media including television and radio, and via the web or business online service; providing wrestling news and knowledge via a world computer network; providing information within the fields of sports and entertainment via a web based community portal; providing a web site in the sphere of sports entertainment information; fan club services, namely, organizing sporting events in the sphere of wrestling for wrestling fan club members; organizing social entertainment events for entertainment purposes for wrestling fan club members; providing online newsletters within the fields of sports entertainment; online journals, namely blogs, in the sphere of sports entertainment.”
