In his post, Mohanlal encouraged football lovers to loosen up and revel in the match, saying, “Calm down and revel in the match,” while avoiding any predictions concerning the consequence. His Instagram caption read, “The stadium is buzzing. Can’t wait for kickoff. #FIFAWorldCup,” reflecting his excitement for the ultimate.
When asked if he had a favorite team, Mohanlal mentioned he did but selected not to disclose it, as an alternative specializing in the celebration of the occasion. He noted that his native Kerala was leaning in favour of Argentina, adding a private touch to his support. The ultimate saw Spain beat Argentina 1-0, crowning them world champions. The event also featured performances by global stars equivalent to Shakira, Madonna, BTS, and Justin Bieber in the course of the halftime show.
