Backstage Response To Liv Morgan’s Brutal Head Clash Prior To WrestleMania 42 Revealed

Liv Morgan has opened up in regards to the backstage concern that followed her accidental head collision with Roxanne Perez just days before WrestleMania 42.

The incident is featured in the newest season of WWE: Unreal, which offers a behind-the-scenes have a look at the April 6, 2026 episode of WWE RAW. During a Judgment Day clubhouse segment, Stephanie Vaquer shoved Morgan from behind, causing her to crash head-first into Perez. The collision was so forceful that WWE officials and medical personnel immediately rushed in to guage each women.

The documentary shows Morgan on the ground with a noticeable swelling on her brow as those round her reacted with concern. Reflecting on the moment, Morgan admitted that she quickly realized something was improper. She said,

“Everyone was reacting very severely around me. They were horrified. She (Stephanie Vaquer) shoved me into Roxxane, we smashed heads really hard.”

“I just lay down there for a pair of additional seconds simply to type of gather myself. I actually didn’t know what the damage was. I didn’t want to take a look at it. I went to go put my hand on my head, and I used to be like, ‘Holy sh**!’”

The behind-the-scenes footage also captures Vaquer looking visibly shaken as referees, producers, and WWE’s medical team quickly surrounded Morgan to evaluate the situation.

The collision resulted in each Morgan and Perez being placed into WWE’s concussion protocol, creating major concern with WrestleMania 42 only days away. On the time, Morgan was scheduled to challenge Stephanie Vaquer for the Women’s World Championship.
