AEW will soon be missing certainly one of its wrestlers.
Earlier this month, Anthony Henry revealed he could be sidelined after sustaining a torn biceps during a match against Gabe Kidd for the NJPW Strong Openweight Championship.
Shortly after, Henry underwent successful surgery. He’s now aiming to get well from one other injury.
Henry had been a member of the Workhorsemen on ROH TV. The group’s final AEW appearance was in January on Collision, where they faced Sting and Darby Allin.
Earlier this yr, Henry was out of motion because of a broken jaw. This injury occurred while he was competing in a Deadlock Pro Wrestling match, where Bryan Keith defended the DPW National Title.
Henry was released while coping with this injury but returned after being medically cleared.
In a recent Twitter post, Henry shared an update on his health and recovery.
He wrote, “Apparently, I’m an anomaly. Only about two weeks post-op, and I’m out of the immobilizer and already moving freely with nearly full ROM. Fingers crossed BUT, I believe I will be cleared in one other 6 weeks. #workhorsemen.”
