The upcoming survival-action game Atomfall now has a release date: March 27, 2025. Inspired by real-life events, Atomfall is ready five years after the Windscale nuclear disaster in Northern England. The sport places players in a fictional quarantine zone where they need to scavenge, craft, barter, fight, and talk their way through a British countryside crammed with diverse characters, cults, and rogue government agencies. Atomfall also draws influence from classic sci-fi shows like Doctor Who, The Quatermass Experiment, and The Day of the Triffids.
Atomfall is a single-player experience featuring a high-stakes combat system that mixes expert marksmanship with hand-to-hand fighting. It’s launching on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and shall be a day-one title on Game Pass for each console and PC.
Developer Rebel released a brand new trailer announcing Atomfall’s release date. The trailer features an original folk song and highlights the sport’s folk horror influences, while offering a glimpse of the Casterfell Woods location.
