Jake Paul responds to rumors that he made $90m for his record-breaking fight

Although the fight was highly controversial due to staggering 31-year age gap, the 2 were assumed to be making an astronomical amount of cash, despite that not being the predominant reason for ‘Iron Mike’s’ comeback.

The daughter of the aforementioned, Ali, claimed that Ali would’ve been mortified on the amount of cash Tyson and Paul constructed from their eight-round fight.

With the event being promoted by Most Precious Promotion’s, his own promotion, ‘The Problem Child’ was set to make the most important payday of lucrative his profession to this point.

Despite that, the 27-year-old has responded to rumors that he made a staggering $90m from the fight, whilst being interviewed by his brother, Logan Paul.

“Is it true you made $90m from this fight?” Logan asked his brother in a recent episode of IMPAULSIVE.

“No, who said that? It’s not true. I made numerous money, probably the most money I’ve made ever but (not $90m),” the 27-year-old responded.

Continuing on, the Web sensation turned boxer went on to state that he would likely purchase a ranch along with his recent payday.

“Probably a ranch, like a giant piece of property and I’m gonna pimp it out,” Jake Paul added.

Jake Paul expresses disappointment in Mike Tyson’s performance

After being surprisingly slapped by the 58-year-old a day prior to their fight on the weigh-ins, ‘The Problem Child’ was expecting the ferocious version of Tyson contained in the ring.

Nevertheless, the fight played out relatively disappointingly, as the previous undisputed heavyweight champion didn’t land anything of note, and his performance has been the topic of some criticism.

Former multiple weight boxing world champion, Terence Crawford recently slammed Tyson’s performance, claiming that he looked ‘trash’ and shouldn’t be getting a lot credit.

Almost every week faraway from the event, Paul has opened up about his thoughts on Tyson’s performance, expressing disappointment.

“I wish he would’ve, yeah like, put up a greater fight in order that I could’ve risen (to the occasion) more and done more. And like, he was surviving a bit, so. That was the one thing I didn’t like,” the 27-year-old admitted.

Tyson, though, did connect with what gave the impression to be a couple of hellacious punches, but Paul has claimed he ‘didn’t feel a thing’.
