The actress recalled, “Often my mother or my aunt used to accompany me on shoots but through the shoot of one among the songs my father accompanied me as he was fearful that me and Dharam ji shouldn’t spend a while alone as he knew we were friends.”
She continued, “I remember this once we used to travel in a automobile my father used to instantly sit next to me but even Dharam ji was no less he used to sit down at the subsequent seat.”
In a throwback interview with Deccan Chronicle, Hema Malini shared, “The minute I saw Dharam ji, I knew he was the person for me. I desired to spend my life with him. I also desired to ensure that the wedding hurt no one. His first wife and youngsters have never felt my intrusion of their lives. I married him, but I never took him away from his first family.”
Hema Malini and Dharmendra’s love story continues to be thought to be one among the most important examples of an evergreen romance that turned real from reel.
