Despite that, UFC CEO, Dana White has without end banged the drum on Jones being the best MMA fighter of all time and has all the time been an enormous admirer of ‘Iron Mike’ too.
Ahead of Tyson’s controversial comeback to boxing against Jake Paul last November, the UFC boss never minced his words and stated how he was hopeful of a devastating win for Tyson.
Dana White on who he’d moderately fight out of Jon Jones and Mike Tyson
Following his extremely decorated boxing profession, Tyson is widely labeled as probably the most dangerous and cruel boxer of all time, still holding the record for the youngest Heavyweight champion ever.
Similarly, Jones is widely considered the best mixed martial artist of all time considering his legendary run of beating the likes of Rampage Jackson, Lyoto Machida, Daniel Cormier, and plenty of more.
Despite each being greats of their respective sports, White was asked in a recent interview, who he would moderately need to fight of their prime.
White has all the time been an enormous fan of boxing and before becoming the president of the UFC, he competed in boxing at an honest level and was hopeful of constructing a profession out of it.
“Jon Jones remains to be the perfect ever,” he began to clarify in an interview on talkSPORT MMA.
“(I’d selected peak) Jon Jones all day and I’m the largest Mike Tyson fan of all time. Oh, who would I least (wish to get within the ring with), I don’t wish to get within the ring with any of them, I’m 55 years old.
“The reply is neither, I’m not getting within the ring with neither. In my prime once I was young, you don’t wish to mess with either certainly one of them. Jon Jones and Mike Tyson are two of the nastiest human beings ever,” he stated.
Dana White comments on Tom Aspinall predicting he’ll beat Jon Jones
At 37 years old, Jones still attempts to stay energetic within the UFC and reigns over the heavyweight division because the champion. Up next for him, if he doesn’t retire, is a fight against interim champion, Tom Aspinall.
With Jones still unsure whether he desires to defend his title against Aspinall, Dana recently stated that he would strip Jones of the title if he doesn’t fight the interim champion.
Aspinall has remained confident throughout that not only the fight will get made but he can be the primary one to legitimately beat Jones.
“I like that in a young, talented, aggressive heavyweight that he actually desires to fight all the perfect,” White commented on Aspinall’s confidence.
Although there hasn’t been an official date set for that title unification bout, White stays confident that the promotion will give you the option to get it done for this yr.
