The Bachelorette is ready to skip a season this summer.
Us Weekly understands that ABC won’t be airing the favored dating show, which usually kicks off around July every year.
While the network hasn’t canceled the fact show and it could be back on air a while in the longer term, Us understands it’s unlikely The Bachelorette will return in 2025 – but the choice hasn’t yet been ruled out. The rationale for the show’s hiatus is unclear.
It’s not the primary time a show from The Bachelor franchise has been placed on the backburner. Bachelor in Paradise was skipped in 2024 to air The Golden Bachelorette. The last time The Bachelorette was skipped was for its 2006 and 2007 seasons.

While Bachelor in Paradise didn’t film its tenth season last yr. As a substitute, it is going to return this summer, ABC confirmed in July 2024.

The Bachelorette season 21 contestant Jonathon Johnson is confirmed to have been invited to participate after failing to win the center of Jenn Tran.
Speaking on the “Lightweights” podcast in January, Johnson, 28, said he won’t be DMing anyone ahead of his arrival in Mexico and shall be keeping his options open.
“I do know prior to now it’s gotten people in trouble for DMing people, talking to people. I would like no bad blood, I would like no animosity hanging over my shoulders,” he said. “I don’t want any pressure to be placed upon me before I can do it myself.”
He added: “If any person’s excited to fulfill me, possibly they’ve said it, awesome. I can be greater than joyful to confer with them. I just need to go in open-minded and meet any person, just clear slate.”

In October 2024, Bachelor in Paradise host Jesse Palmer teased details of what to anticipate when the spinoff is finally back on screens.
“I do know a number of the ideas which might be being pitched around.
