The Latest On The AEW Exits Of Malakai Black, Miro, & Ricky Starks

Malakai Black, Miro, and Ricky Starks have officially parted ways with All Elite Wrestling, as confirmed by their removal from the AEW roster page.

On the newest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer shared some additional details about their AEW departures.

Black’s contract with AEW has expired, while Miro and Ricky Starks were released.

Furthermore, Rey Fenix has not been released yet, and the explanations for AEW granting Starks and Miro their releases remain unclear, raising questions on why Fenix’s situation is different.

As we previously reported here on eWn, all three wrestlers (Black, Starks, and Miro) are currently free agents and never subject to any non-compete clauses. Black, Starks, and Miro can appear on WWE television as soon as they’re signed.

Moreover, Miro and AEW had “creative differences,” and Miro didn’t wish to lose, which resulted in his limited TV time.

And at last, Meltzer said he’s “certain” that Starks and Black are headed to WWE and expects Miro to return to WWE in the longer term.
