While reminding Lamar Odom about his near-fatal overdose, Khloé Kardashian revealed that she developed a health issue while supporting him during his months-long hospitalization.
Through the Thursday, February 13, episode of The Kardashians, Khloé, 40, confronted Lamar, 45, about his overdose at a legal brothel in Nevada and subsequent four-month stint in various medical facilities.
“It’s his fault he couldn’t speak because he decided to do naughty things somewhere he shouldn’t have done them,” she told Lamar. “You will have no idea what happened that day but I do. Don’t discuss it when you aren’t going to be honest.”
Lamar fired back, telling his ex that he didn’t consciously take drugs to cause an overdose. Khloé attempted to make clear his statement, adding in a confessional, “What Lamar is attempting to say is when he went to the brothel he didn’t take drugs and he doesn’t recall taking them. I feel it’s a incontrovertible fact that he did overdose but he’s implying that somebody drugged him.”
Khloé and Lamar dated for one month before getting engaged in 2009. They got married later that yr and Khloé filed for divorce 4 years later. Khloé later postponed her court motion after Lamar — who struggled with substance abuse during a part of their marriage — was left comatose following an overdose at a legal brothel in Nevada.
“You were in a coma for 3 days. I used to be there the second you were there,” Khloé recalled on Thursday’s episode. “I used to be there when your father said, ‘Pull the plug’ so he might be in your life insurance. I used to be there once you had six heart attacks, 12 strokes and Kobe [Bryant] walked in after we needed to do a lung surgery on you.”

Khloé said she developed her own health issues consequently.
“I used to be there through all of it. We transferred you from Vegas to Cedars,” she continued. “I didn’t leave you for 4 months. I got a staph infection because I lived in a hospital.”
While taking care of Lamar in 2015, Khloé revealed on social media that she contracted a staph infection. “[It] is not any joke,” she wrote via X. “Mine was exacerbated by stress which isn’t an amazing combo. I’m under great medical care&receiving tons of affection!”
The fact star elaborated on how Lamar’s issues took a toll on her.
“Only in the near past I’ve been within the hospital for nearly three and a half weeks straight, and at last everyone was saying, ‘Khloé, you’ve got to get out of the hospital and only for an hour, go to the gym and do something that’s for you. Nothing’s going to occur to Lamar,’” she told the San Diego Union-Tribune on the time. “I had such anxiety going to the gym, but as soon as I left, and Kendall [Jenner] and I worked out with my trainer, I felt like, ‘Oh my god, I’m OK. I’m a human again!’”
Khloé ultimately served as Lamar’s caretaker while he recovered before refiling for divorce in May 2016, which was finalized seven months later.
“Lamar was and is certainly someone that I felt was the love of my life,” Khloé told the cameras in a February episode of her Hulu show. “I got married once I was 24 and although him and I got married 30 days to the day we met, I loved him with all of my heart and soul. I took my vows very seriously and I used to be married for about seven years. But there have been larger things that weren’t fixable in that marriage. So the last time I saw him was in 2016.”
Lamar, meanwhile, offered an apology to his ex-wife. “I put you thru rather a lot,” he admitted. “I f—– up with you. I really like you for trying your hardest with me. That love won’t ever go away, I realize it won’t.”
