Beterbiev On Bivol II: “Gotta Change It Up” For A Win

Artur Beterbiev (21-0, 20 KOs) feels he must “do every thing in a different way” in his rematch with Dmitry Bivol for him to come back out victorious on Saturday night, February twenty second, in Riyadh. Undisputed light heavyweight champion Beterbiev doesn’t say what he must change, but it surely’s the pressure.

He didn’t put enough pressure on Bivol (23-1, 12 KOs) in the primary five rounds, and he let him to construct a giant lead. That’s why the fight was close in the long run, which led to a variety of complaining by fans and Bivol’s promoter Eddie Hearn.

“All the things Different”

The Beterbiev-Bivol 2 rematch will likely be shown continue to exist DAZN PPV on the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh this Saturday. Within the co-feature, IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois will defend against Joseph Parker.

“I would like to do every thing different,” said Artur Beterbiev to talkSport Boxing about what he must do to defeat Artur Beterbiev of their rematch on Saturday night.

“I’m expecting a special fight but at a special pace, the next pace, the next tempo, and more desperation from Beterbiev. He’ll be considering, ‘I’m going to wish to dig in deep here, and I don’t know if I got the pace within the tank,’” said Johnny Nelson.

“Neither of those guys has a touch of hesitation, and that’s what makes this such a great fight. He [Bivol] has to manage the pace, set a high tempo pace. That’s what wins. Long shots, use the jab, use the shots and the footwork. Mix the 2 so he’s punching and moving at the identical time. Not giving Beterbiev the possibility to step within the gap when he goes for a breather,” said Nelson.

The best way Nelson describes it, it’s clear that Dmitry Bivol might want to move nonstop to avoid getting cooked by Beterbiev when he stops. That will likely be tiring because he’ll use a variety of his energy moving and throwing.

What power he starts the fight with will likely be passed by the sixth round, and he’ll fall prey to Beterbiev’s pressure again, similar to in the primary fight. The last time they fought on October twelfth, Bivol moved a lot in the primary half of the battle that he had nothing left within the second half.
