Noni Madueke is ready to miss Chelsea’s next six games on account of a hamstring injury.
The winger was forced off with a hamstring problem in the primary half of Chelsea’s 3-0 defeat to Brighton last Friday.
In keeping with The Telegraph, Chelsea are hopeful that Madueke won’t miss a big variety of games but expect the 22-year-old to be sidelined until after the international break at the tip of March.
That may mean Madueke shall be absent for Chelsea’s Premier League match against Aston Villa this Saturday, in addition to their games against Southampton, Leicester City and Arsenal.
Madueke would also miss each of legs of Chelsea’s Conference League last-16 tie which is scheduled to happen on March 6 and March 13.
Enzo Maresca’s side will play one in all Gent, FC Copenhagen, Real Betis or FC Heidenheim within the Conference League last-16 stage.
Madueke’s injury adds to Maresca’s injury headache in attack because the Chelsea manager is already without each Nicolas Jackson and Marc Guiu.
