Nitesh Tiwari’s magnum opus Ramayana is being shot in India. Headlined by Ranbir Kapoor, Yash and Sai Pallavi within the lead roles, Ramayana stays one among the highly anticipated projects. As everyone knows, Ranbir and Sai have shot some parts of the film in Mumbai. And now, Yash who can be a producer for the film has begun shooting for his a part of Ravana in the town.

Yash starts shooting for Ramayana
As per the newest reports, Yash has landed in Mumbai and has already begun shooting for Ramayana – Part 1. A source informed a number one portal that Yash began filming his portions for Ramayana yesterday (February 21) after two days of costume trials. The shooting portion will likely be focused on war sequences. The team will shoot a few of the crucial war scenes at Aksa Beach in Mumbai. Later, the makers will move to a studio in Dahisar for further shooting.
The source informed the portal, “The war portions are being mounted on a grand scale, with the motion choreography designed to reflect Ravana’s strategic prowess. It’s going to be a mixture of green screen shots and people shot on the bottom and involve heavy VFX work. This set piece doesn’t require Ranbir’s presence as it is not the Ram-Ravana face-off. Other key actors have joined Yash for this leg.”
Talking about Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, it would be released in two parts. The primary part will likely be released on Diwali 2026, while the second installment will likely be out on Diwali 2027. Ramayana also features Lara Dutta, Sunny Deol, Indira Krishna and others in pivotal roles. Stay tuned for more updates!
