Paris made jaws drop as she walked the red carpet in a classy black gown that featured a scintillating cut-out on the midriff area and a thigh-high slit. The famous daughter kept her accessories so minimal, rocking a pair of earrings with a bracelet.
Her blonde hair was dyed a subtle ginger as she posed elegantly for the cameras. Nonetheless, Paris’ latest hair wasn’t probably the most jaw-dropping thing about her appearance on the Grammys. The “Hit Your Knees” songstress was seen with no single tattoo on her body.
It’s no news that the 25-year-old has an array of tattoos adorning her body — over 80 of them — but none was seen through the big award night. Luckily, Paris didn’t keep her fans guessing about how she achieved the clean look. The daughter of the legendary singer shared a timelapse of her glam team covering up the various inkings with makeup from the brand Cover FX.
“#CoverFX meant business after they said total cover cream foundation would have me covered,” she captioned the upload. Opening up about how the method went and why she decided to flaunt such a significant switch-up, Paris told ET Tonight:
It took a couple of hours. Well, I like switching things up. I really like my tattoos, I really like my piercings, I really like all of the body modification stuff, art, and in addition sometimes I don’t want it to distract from the art that’s the fashion I’m wearing. And it gives the dress it’s own moment, you understand?”
Although Paris was pleased with switching up her look, a lot of her fans didn’t share her enthusiasm as they took to her comments section to share their disapproval. “Bro, I used to be just saying earlier today I can’t imagine Paris without her tattoos, and here you’re 😭😭,” lamented one fan.
One other asked, “Why are we covering them tho? real query,” while one other penned, “Hi Paris Jackson, I don’t understand why you paid for the tattoos. If it’s to please you, I support you.
