Cricket Canada CEO Salman Khan is facing corruption allegations having reportedly being charged with theft and fraud committed during his time as president of Calgary and District Cricket League between 2014 and 2016. The Calgary Police in a press release said it believes two men are liable for misappropriating “roughly $200,000 from the league”.

The Police claims payments were allegedly made to businesses within the pretext of repair and upgradation of the league infrastructure. Nonetheless, the said work was either not accomplished or done using inferior products purchased at “highly inflated” cost.
