MANILA, Philippines — Ivy Lacsina asked her fans for support as she begins a brand new chapter in her volleyball profession with the Nxled Chameleons.
A day after being welcomed by the Chameleons, Lacsina has a message for her fans and her latest Premier Volleyball League (PVL) team.
“I hope you’ll proceed to support me as I enter a brand new journey with my latest family,” said Lacsina in a video posted by Nxled.
Lacsina received a chance to proceed her profession with Nxled, the sister team of Akari, after the disbandment of F2 Logistics, which is able to concentrate on grassroots.

“I would really like to say thanks to the Akari management especially to sir Christopher Tiu for giving me this chance. Let’s go Nxled see you on the court,” she said.
The 6-foot-1 Lacsina will play under Japanese coach Taka Minowa for the primary time. She is reunited together with her former National University setter Kamille Cal and likewise teaming up with ex-college rivals Cams Victoria, Dani Ravena, Lycha Ebon, and Krich Macaslang in addition to veteran Jho Maraguinot.
The 24-year-old player, who can play as a middle blocker and spiker, thrived as a hitter after emerging because the leading F2 scorer and No.8 within the league with 142 points built on 115 kills, 22 blocks, and five aces. She was also the No.4 best blocker with 0.54 kill blocks per set within the second All-Filipino Conference.
The previous NU star, who was a part of the Lady Bulldogs’ 16-0 sweep to rule the UAAP Season 84 women’s volleyball tournament, is playing for her second pro team after her leap to F2 Logistics last yr and played 4 conferences.
