Gameloft has released a brand new survey for Disney Dreamlight Valley that hints at which characters could possibly be added to the sport in future updates. After being released as an early access title in September 2022, Disney Dreamlight Valley was released in December 2023 alongside the primary DLC, A Rift in Time.

A Rift in Time is the primary paid expansion in Disney Dreamlight Valley and introduces players to a brand new world, Eternity Isle, together with three recent biomes to explore: Ancient’s Landing, Glittering Dunes, and Wild Tangle. These recent areas are home to recent characters, quests, and resources which players can explore during their time within the life management simulator. On top of the sport’s official release, the Dreamlight Valley team is desperate to hear from fans about who must be added to the sport in future updates.

In a survey posted across the official Disney Dreamlight Valley channels, Gameloft is asking players to contemplate which characters must be added in future updates. The choices given were Lumiere and Cogsworth from Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King’s Timon and Pumbaa, or Toy Story’s Rex and Bo Peep, with players having to say which characters were most appealing to them.

The survey also highlights the potential recent Star Path themes which are being regarded as future inclusions. Recent paths that players could undertake include a Star Path centered across the Frozen franchise but other options could include a Disney Classics Star Path where Pinocchio, Peter Pan, and Robin Hood make an appearance.

Characters Being Considered For Disney Dreamlight Valley

  • Lumiere and Cogsworth (Beauty and the Beast)
  • Timon and Pumbaa (The Lion King)
  • Rex and Bo Peep (Toy Story)

After some gamers were upset to learn that Disney Dreamlight Valley would not be released as a free-to-play title, Gameloft is working to be sure the community is fully supported. Together with the paid DLC, Gameloft also announced the 2024 roadmap for Disney Dreamlight Valley, which can be adding in Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog in addition to each Mike and Sully from Monsters Inc. by the top of Summer 2024 at no extra cost to players.

While it is not any guarantee that any of the ideas mentioned within the survey will eventually make it into Disney Dreamlight Valley, players will little doubt be assured that the developers have many ideas to proceed supporting the sport in the approaching months. Each of the three sets of characters comes from franchises that already appear in the sport, so it could seem Gameloft is the potential for expanding key areas in addition to adding recent biomes and realms.
