The Comedian’s Previous Response To Katt Williams
As a substitute, Williams said Haddish was “only seen at The Laugh Factory.”
Just a few days later, Haddish replied to Williams’ comment by briefly reviewing her resume during a recent comedy special.
“I’ve been doing s**t — I used to be on ‘That’s So Raven,’ I used to be on all this s**t…,” she told the audience. “I used to be on all of the lil’ white people TV shows, the Black people TV shows… I’ve been telling jokes since nineteen hundred and ninety-six.”
Moreover, Haddish alleged that Williams’ claim about her not acting at The Comedy Store was false.
“This n***a said, ‘Oh, they wouldn’t let her perform at The Comedy Store.’ That’s right. They wouldn’t let me perform on the white nights at The Comedy Store, but I performed on all of the Black nights,” she said.
On the time, Haddish also left a social media comment about Williams, comparing his looks to Charleston White.
“…I’m not mad I just wish he would get his facts right about me,” she wrote. “Dang I suppose I’ll send him a reminder text. But are we sure that’s Katt Williams? He looks like Charleston White.”
