Anderson .Paak has reportedly filed for divorce from his wife, Jae Lin, after 13 years of marriage.
In keeping with TMZ, the singer filed the legal documents on Friday (January 12), requesting to have their union dissolved.

Per the aforementioned publication, the court docs state that each Paak and Lin plan on sharing joint physical custody of their two sons, Soul Rasheed and Shine Paak.
Moreover, the ‘Leave The Door Open’ artist, who incessantly collaborates with Bruno Mars, can also be requesting to have a visitation schedule in place.
An arrangement concerning the division of their assets and property continues to be underway, indicating that the pair may thoroughly be handling the matter outside of court.
Their official separation date was not mentioned within the filing.
Back in December 2021, Paak opened up concerning the struggles that he and his wife faced originally of their marriage.
He recalled how losing his job at a marijuana farm ultimately left his family homeless and having to couch-surf from house to accommodate as he began specializing in his music profession.

Long before the cash and fame, Lin stood by Paak’s side as they navigated their way through the obstacles while raising their son, Soul.
“Soul does remember how things began with our little apartment in Koreatown,” he told PEOPLE. “He remembers us taking the bus and going to the WIC office and attempting to figure things out.”
In 2016, Paak credited his soon-to-be ex-wife, whom he met at a music school, for holding him down through the difficult times they faced soon after tying the knot.
“She’s the one who got here from Korea, didn’t speak [any] English, she’s [the one who has] the balls,” he told The Breakfast Club, per Bustle.
Amid his divorce proceedings, the 37-year-old is currently working on the discharge of his upcoming directorial debut, titled ‘K-Pops!’
Paak shouldn’t be only directing the movie but additionally leading the forged alongside his eldest son, who’s also landed a job.
