A Stardew Valley player was having a really lucky day, just for it to all be ruined by an easy mistake involving bombs. The Stardew Valley gameplay clip is evoking sympathy from fellow fans who’ve likely experienced something similar no less than once in the sport.
Stardew Valley includes a wide range of tools and weapons for the player to make use of within the depths of the mines of the sport. While the vast majority of Stardew Valley will be played without combat, mines and Wilderness Farms do have enemies that can attack the player on-sight. Bombs will be used to rapidly destroy rocks, speeding up the possibility of finding good items and a stairway to the following level of the mines. In a pinch, they may also be used to destroy enemies. Nonetheless, misusing them could cause some major problems for the player, especially once they set foot onto their farm.
Stardew Valley player MysticMarbles shared a gameplay clip on the sport’s subreddit lamenting their mistake after a very lucky day. Prior to the clip, the player had collected several Dragon Teeth to make use of toward creating an island obelisk that lets the player teleport to Ginger Island directly. The clip shows the player running through a chicken coop as they collect processed mayonnaise. After collecting the whole lot, the player mistakenly switches to their second hot bar, setting down several Mega Bombs. The player realizes their mistake a split second later, turning to take a look at the bombs before pausing the sport in a panic.
At this point, the player had two important options – let the bombs explode, destroying nearly the whole lot within the chicken coop, or restart the day, losing their progress prior to the error. Unfortunately, MysticMarbles selected the latter option, only realizing after the incontrovertible fact that it could have been easier to easily rebuild the machines than trying to search out the Dragon Teeth again. Some players joked about how they paused, saying that the bombs would never explode as long as they remained on the pause screen endlessly.
Fellow farmers shared some helpful advice as well, with one noting that they remove their bombs from their inventory as soon as they’ve finished going through a mine. One other expressed concern at what would occur to the animals within the chicken coop. Thankfully, Stardew Valley cattle are proof against bomb damage, so the player would not have needed to have apprehensive about by accident slaughtering their chickens, geese, and rabbits.
