Should you read my review of Prince of Persia The Lost Crown, you may imagine how difficult the sport might be. Luckily, I’ve had enough time with the two.5 D platformer to determine the meta.

To make things easier, I actually have compiled a beginner’s guide on the perfect suggestions for Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. So it could be a great idea to read this before starting your adventure on Mount Qaf.

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown: beginner’s guide to the perfect suggestions

There’s greater than meets the attention for the most recent installment of The Prince of Persia. On the surface, it looks like a cute game with easygoing mechanics. Nevertheless, as you dive deeper, things do get overwhelming — which is sort of interesting for a reasonably linear game. But for those who read each tip, chances are you’ll get past Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown’s learning curve a bit easier to digest.

Learn the timing

This might be for each combat and platforming. Nevertheless, it’s far more essential for the platforming side of the sport. Because the puzzles are a component of the platforming, your timing must be dead on. Certain puzzles require good timing, and to make matters worse, platforming plays an enormous role in them. For instance, you’ll need to jump on a moving ledge that moves whenever you move. So your jump and climb have to synch up with the ledge’s movements.

Upgrade, upgrade, upgrade

As the sport progresses, the enemy types turn into less forgiving, and the boss battles turn into more demanding. Heading back to Haven to upgrade your health, amulets, and weapons is something I like to recommend doing often. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown doesn’t have a leveling system, but you’ll notice a gradual uptick in difficulty as you progress. By upgrading Sargon, you’ll recover buffs and make the ability of your amulets stronger.

Nevertheless, upgrading could make boss fights a breeze — relatively speaking. The primary three bosses I went up against made my life miserable. But then I’d change my amulets and at a Wak Wak Tree or go to Haven and upgrade my kit. Once I modified my loadout, those boss fights got easier. So be certain you retain upgrading and alternating your gear throughout the sport.

Chase the Golden Leaves

These leaves are essential because they’ll lead you to a Wak Wak Tree. The trees are essential. Here you may change your amulets, and swap your Athra Surges abilities, they usually act as a respawn point. So whenever you start seeing golden leaves, start following them till you reach the tree. Moreover, it’s value locating these Wak Wak Trees, as lots of them have fast travel points nearby.

Overuse the Memory Shards

The Memory Shards are quickly becoming my favorite feature in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. You’ll be doing A LOT of backtracking in the sport, and all is worth it. As you undergo an area for the primary time, you’ll notice something that you may’t reach — an item, a puzzle, etc. By placing a Memory Shard at that spot, you may come back later with recent powers that may aid you reach an area you couldn’t before.

Nevertheless, there’s a limited amount you may place. Don’t worry though, you may delete the Shards, and also you’ll gain them back into your inventory. On top of that, you could find or buy upgrades to carry more Memory Shards. If you would like to collect all of the achievements or trophies in Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, that is the perfect technique to do it.

Find Fariba

She’s a helpful NPC who will aid you throughout your journey. Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown is simple, and the primary story missions are detailed well, so you may’t miss them. Nevertheless, while the sport does inform you where your objective is, it doesn’t inform you how to get there. That is where Farbia is available in. She’ll provide you with not-so-subtle suggestions that shall be highlighted in yellow. Note that it’s going to cost you 50 Time Crystals.

Pop Farbia

Moreover, for those who’re in a brand new area and find her in that area, she’ll open up your map so the fog of war is all gone in that section. You’ll need to pay her 30 Time Crystals to get her to open up the extent you’re on. She’ll at all times have something for you whenever you see her.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown’s difficulty can add to your playtime, but for those who’re planning on speedrun, take a look at how long it’ll take you to get through.

Prince of Persia The Lost Crown is accessible now via Ubisoft, Epic Games, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and Nintendo Switch.
