Swedish online seller of caps and hats, Hatstore, is constructing a brand new office and warehouse. The brand new warehouse can be 5,000 square meters in size. The corporate’s logistics operations can be expanded, with 43 recent picking robots, 12 gates and 40,000 boxes.
Hatstore is a Swedish online retailer. It sells headwear, corresponding to caps, hats and beanies. It was founded in 2011. Over the past couple of years, the retailer expanded into 25 recent markets. This brings the full amount of energetic markets to 60. In response to the corporate, its turnover exceeded 28.4 million euros (320 Swedish Kronor) in 2023.
Doubling of warehouse size
The vendor has a product range of greater than 20,000 products. Its current warehouse premises are getting too small, so the corporate can be moving its office and warehouse storage to a brand new place. The whole property can be 11,000 square meters in size. The warehouse will occupy 5,000 square meters of those. It is a doubling of Hatstore’s current warehouse size.

Expansion of AutoStore
The vendor can even expand its logistics solution. It’s already using an AutoStore, which can be built up in the brand new warehouse area. The AutoStore can be installed by Element Logic, with a grid space for 50,000 boxes.

It’ll reuse robots, gates and boxes from the previous installation, but in addition add recent ones. No less than 43 picking robots, 12 gates and 40,000 boxes can be added. The corporate expects that it could possibly process around 1,500 order lines per hour. Installation of the AutoStore will start after this summer. The move is planned for January 1st, 2025.
