‘Barbie’ actor Ryan Gosling is revealing if he can be open to performing the hit song, ‘I’m Just Ken’, on the upcoming Academy Awards.

As you already know, the 43-year-old was nominated for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Ken within the hit film, so why not have a full-on performance of the fan-favorite ballad at the largest night for movies?

While the Academy has not yet commented on whether we’ll see an ‘I’m Just Ken’ performance, the actor has revealed that if it were as much as him, it will occur.

Bring on the Ken-ergy because if the Academy is open to the thought, Ryan Gosling told E! News he would definitely perform his hit ‘Barbie’ song live at the large event.

Ever since its debut, the ballad has been extremely popular amongst fans, even entering the Billboard Hot 100. While nothing has been confirmed, if the act does occur, we all know Gosling will lay every thing out on the stage and wow fans with an over-the-top performance, because, well, he’s just Ken.

‘Barbie’ has been receiving numerous attention as of late resulting from the snub Margot Robbie received for not being nominated for Best Actress.

While Gosling is “extremely honored to be nominated” for the Best Supporting Actor category, he spoke on the snub, saying there’s “no Ken without Barbie. And there isn’t a Barbie movie without Greta Gerwig and Margot Robbie, the 2 people most liable for this history-making, globally celebrated film.”

Greta Gerwig was also snubbed within the Best Director category. “To say that I’m upset that they usually are not nominated of their respective categories can be an understatement,” Gosling said of the 2 women.

He added, “No recognition can be possible for anyone on the film without their talent, grit, and genius. To say that I’m upset that they usually are not nominated of their respective categories can be an understatement.”

Margot Robbie recently addressed her Oscars snub, revealing that “There’s no option to feel sad when you already know you’re this blessed.” She then added that she is “beyond ecstatic that we’ve got eight Academy Award nominations — it’s so wild.”

“Obviously I believe Greta must be nominated as a director because what she did is a once-in-a-career, once-in-a-lifetime thing, what she pulled off, it truly is. However it’s been an incredible 12 months for all of the movies,” she added.

The movie made greater than $1 billion on the box office and is “greater than us” and “greater than our industry,” in keeping with Robbie. ‘Barbie’ has done “way greater than we ever dreamed it will, and that is really the largest reward that would come out of all of this,” the actress continued.
