Some Chelsea fans got so excited they broke the promoting hoarding when celebrating a stoppage-time strike by Conor Gallagher at Crystal Palace.
Former Eagles loanee Gallagher stroked the ball home from the sting of the box to place Chelsea 2-1 up in stoppage time at Selhurst Park to the delight of the travelling Blues fans.
Although the celebrations went barely too far as a crowd of Chelsea fans seeking to have fun with the goalscorer ended up unintentionally made an element of the promoting hoarding fall over within the melee.
Stewards were forced to intervene as some spilled onto the pitch to make sure nobody was hurt while Chelsea players Ben Chilwell and Cole Palmer offered their assistance to the fans who fell.
Gallagher equalised early within the second half and his second goal wasn’t the winner as Enzo Fernandez added one other late in time beyond regulation to seal a 3-1 win.
