Where Swayman essentially said to him, you stayed, you’re here, you’re considered one of us still, the large goalie hus. Just your thoughts on the Linus Ullmark situation around trade deadline Friedge. There have been many who thought that he was gone.”

Friedman: “I believe he thought it too. I heard it was a very emotional week for him behind the scenes. He made it very clear he didn’t want to go away. But I believe he was expecting that he could be traded.
You already know the thing is here is that I all the time say this, it’s a player’s right. Should you get it in your contract, you could have a no-trade clause, it’s your right to say “no.” And I consider he, he exercised, and particularly in the midst of a season that , and it’s potentially far-off from where you’re, I completely understand that.
And , the report has been LA. I’ve heard nothing that makes me dispute it. You already know, obviously, he hasn’t commented on that and Don Sweeney hasn’t said anything. And I’ve heard the Kings usually are not very glad, because that results in questions on who potentially was involved.
Marek: “Yeah.”
Friedman: “But , I’ve heard nothing that makes me disbelieve that LA was the team.
But I also think that there have been some teams within the East that Boston was talking to. Potentially about another situations and I believe there was a couple of. I believe there have been a pair and I don’t know in the event that they were ones he could have blocked or not. I consider in a minimum of one case the deal fell apart. I believe it’s also possible the team that was talking to Boston, said well, we’d reasonably do Swayman and Boston just shot that down. Said that’s not that’s not happening.
But there’s definitely some conversations about Ullmark that happened over the past couple of weeks that I believe will probably be revisited in the summertime. And, or after the season’s over. I don’t think that is over. I believe Ullmark realizes that.
And , the opposite thing too is I might assume in some unspecified time in the future, I don’t know when, like every team is different. Some teams it’s July 1, June 30, whatever it’s, but I don’t know when Ullmark has to submit his list. But , that’s going to be a part of this too.
And, , Boston, I don’t think these conversations are over. I might guess that Boston was one of the vital dissatisfied teams on the deadline. I believe they, , they got (Pat) Maroon. They got (Andrew) Peeke from Columbus. And other people told me that Peeke is a greater player than what happened to him this yr. He just got caught in a numbers game in Columbus.
But I believe Boston could be considered one of the more dissatisfied teams and that they couldn’t do a number of the things that they desired to do. And, but I believe Boston goes to be a very interesting team within the offseason. There’s there’s absolute confidence about that to me.
