Easter Monday delivers a packed card of EFL fixtures and there may be plenty to play for up and down the leagues.

Leicester will probably be trying to get back to winning ways after slipping off top spot within the Championship table, while title rivals Ipswich and Leeds will probably be hoping to maintain the pressure on.

Bet of the day

Bristol City to beat Plymouth – 31/20

Bristol City hampered Leicester’s title push by beating the Foxes 1-0 at Ashton Gate on Friday and the Robins look excellent value to follow up at Plymouth.

Jamie Vardy hit the post and missed two glaring opportunities for Leicester, but that doesn’t take away from the undeniable fact that Bristol City looked extremely dangerous in Friday’s contest and managed nine shots on goals against a top-level Championship side.

Plymouth are battling away at the underside of the second tier however it’s only one win in ten Championship games for the Pilgrims.

Ian Foster’s men took the lead against Norwich at Carrow Road on Friday, but they were beaten 2-1 in Norfolk and Plymouth looked jaded and dejected as they left the sphere. It’s a brief turnaround to spice up morale and Bristol City look excellent value to deepen the Pilgrims’ problems.

Special of the day

Over 10.5 corners in Ipswich v Southampton

Southampton have slipped ten points off league-leading Ipswich within the Championship table and this game looks a must-win for the Saints in the event that they are to get back into the automated promotion picture.

Russell Martin’s men do have two games in hand on the Suffolk side, but they’re more likely to go for broke at Portman Road. No side is averaging higher than Southampton’s 7.92 corners per game this season and the 37 second-tier games involving the Saints are hitting 12.14 flag kicks on average.

Ipswich have averaged 6.47 corners in 19 home Championship matches this term and the tally is more likely to undergo the ten.5 line in what might be a frenetic contest in Suffolk.

Long shot of the day

Watford to win & over 3.5 goals – 14/1

Tom Cleverley has steadied the ship since taking up at Watford and the Hornets have beaten Birmingham and picked up a draw with Leeds for the reason that former Man Utd midfielder replaced Valerien Ismael.

Watford twice led Championship title hopefuls Leeds in a 2-2 draw on Friday night and the Hertfordshire side created loads of opportunities in a game they may well have won.

Emmanuel Dennis, Yaser Asprilla and Vakoun Issouf Bayo form a particularly dangerous Watford attacking unit and they give the impression of being able to causing West Brom problems.

The Baggies need to cement their playoff position, but they might be vulnerable to a rejuvenated Watford side.

West Brom have scored 15 goals of their last seven matches and they’ll carry a threat of their very own, but at 14/1, backing Watford to win and over 3.5 goals in the sport looks a big-price play.
