Bridgerton is understood for its steamy scenes that play major roles within the plot lines of the series. While the show is heading towards its third season, actress Nicola Coughlan, who plays Penelope Featherington has asked the makers to share an alternate cut for her mother. In response to Coughlan, she officially requested the PG version by making it a clause in her contract.
The Barbie actress revealed that she would only show the choice version of the brand new season to her mother, to be able to shield her from the heavily saucy scenes of the show. Coughlan and Luke Newton (Colin Bridgerton) are leading the show’s third season, which is purported to be released in two separate parts. The primary instalment is slated to release on May 16 while the second instalment will release on June 13.
The brand new season is purported to establish the romance between Penelope and Colin, while showing longer glimpses of Anthony (Jonathan Bailey) and Kate Bridgerton’s (Simone Ashley) life after marriage.
