Mithun Chakraborty, a veteran Bollywood actor, recently shared a touching moment on the truth TV show Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, where he recounted a private story of heartbreak and redemption. Reflecting on his early days in showbiz, Mithun disclosed an incident when he faced heartbreak after being abandoned by someone he loved during tough times. Recalling the past, Mithun remarked, “I fell in love and had gone completely mad. But someday she left me.”

During a journey on an airplane, Mithun encountered the identical girl who had left him during his struggles. Despite her attempts to avoid eye contact, Mithun approached her and addressed the situation. He recalled, “I used to be travelling in an aeroplane and that girl was also in the identical plane. She didn’t have a look at me. So, I got up and went as much as her and asked why she was not me.”
Surprisingly, upon hearing Mithun’s words, the girl became visibly emotional, expressing regret for her past actions. She confessed, “I believe I actually have made a mistake. At the moment, I shouldn’t have done that to you.” In response, Mithun offered words of understanding and forgiveness, acknowledging the role her decision played in shaping his journey. He reassured her, stating, “Possibly when you hadn’t done that, I might not have been capable of turn out to be this legend.”
