Max has unveiled its full programming for LGBTQ Pride Month.
Throughout June, Max shall be updating its LGBTQ+ Voices page with recent curations, including “Presenting with Pride,” “Pride in Every Story,” “Beyond the Binary” and “Queer Film Club,” custom artwork, and more to rejoice Pride Month globally.
As previously announced, the streamer’s Human By Orientation platform will host a “House of Drag” viewing party on the premiere night of “House of the Dragon” Season 2 on June 16 in Brooklyn. Hosted by Priyanka from the fourth season of “We’re Here,” the one-night-only, sold-out event will feature a “Battle for the Iron Throne” for the queer fandom of “House of the Dragon.”
Max can be partnering with NewFest during its annual Pride Festival (May 30-June 3), activating each virtual and in-person community screenings of LGBTQ+ titles to further amplify the voices and stories of the queer community. Max, in collaboration with NewFest Pride, Rooftop Movies and the Meatpacking District, will host an out of doors screening of the HBO Original concert special “Gaga Chromatica Ball” on June 3 at Gansevoort Plaza.
Human By Orientation is Max’s platform for the LGBTQIA+ community to amplify and rejoice queer voices and stories through year-round programming and cultural moments (including exclusive music performances, comedy specials and custom video series featuring queer creators) by encouraging people to precise their queerest, proudest selves.
A sizzle reel for Max’s Pride initiatives highlights CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, “The Color Purple,” “The Last of Us,” “Hacks,” the animated “Harley Quinn,” “The Book of Queer,” “Dicks: The Musical” and “Going to Mars.”
