He has won a record eight Ballon d’Or awards and left European football last yr to hitch the MLS club.
Messi’s contract with Inter Miami is ready to run out at the top of the 2025 season.
“It was a difficult step to go away Europe to come back here,” he said. “Having grow to be a world champion helped quite a bit, and in addition to see things in a different way. The star said he’s attempting to benefit from the final stretch of his profession to the fullest.
“I even have a very good time on the club, I’m lucky enough to have teammates and friends (Luis Suárez, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba, all former Barcelona players) by my side,” he said. “I had a very good time within the national team, where I even have teammates and friends too.
“I benefit from the little details that I do know that after I don’t play anymore, I’m going to miss,” he added. “My whole life I did this. I really like playing ball and I enjoy training, day-to-day life and match days. And yes, there’s all the time the fear that every part will end.”
