UFC 303 takes place Saturday, and you may join us for live play-by-play and official results starting at 6 p.m. ET (3 p.m. PT). UFC 303 (pay-per-view/ESPN/ESPN+) takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Within the essential event, light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira (10-2 MMA, 7-1 UFC) defends his title on short notice in a rematch with former champ Jiri Prochazka (30-4-1 MMA, 4-1 UFC). Within the rapidly assembled co-feature, Diego Lopes (24-6 MMA, 3-1 UFC) takes on Brian Ortega (16-3 MMA, 8-3 UFC) at lightweight.

Round 1 – Each fighters very tentative here in the beginning. Oliveira controls the middle of the octagon. Big leg kick by Oliveira. Two missed leg kicks by Oliveira. Good jab by Oliveira. Body shot by Oliveira. Simon is a bit gun shy. Simon takes him down, but Oliveira gets immediately back up. We’re halfway through the round. A left hook lands for Simon. Leg kick by Oliveira. Again. Leg kick by Simon. Jab by Simon. Simon shoots, but gets stuffed by Oliveira. Left hook connects for Simon, who now presses Oliveira against the cage. They break free. Big jab by Simon. Round 1 – Clean right lands for Tsuruya. Tsuruya shoots antakes down Hernandez. Not so fast! Hernandez scrambles and takes down Tsuruya. One other scramble and Tsuruya goes for a leg lock. Hernandez is out they usually’re back to striking. We’re halfway through the round. Leg kick by Hernandez. Hernandez is walking down Tsuruya. Tsuruya shoots, Hernandez defends, but gets pressed against the cage. Nice throw by Tsuruya! He’s now on top. Crazy scrambles here. Tsuruya still on top. Tsuruya takes the back of Hernandez. The bell rings. Tsuruya ends on top.

Round 2 – Tsuruya shoots early and gets the takedown. Tsuruya working from side control. Crazy scrambles here. The 2 are non-stop, but Tsuruya is getting the higher of Hernadez.
