England fans can be counting down the hours to their Euro 2024 quarter-finals against Switzerland this weekend.
The Three Lions, who were among the many favourites ahead of the tournament, have struggled in Germany and only just scraped into the last eight.
Gareth Southgate’s side were mere seconds from considered one of their most humiliating losses at a serious international competition last trip.
A goal all the way down to world No.45 Slovakia, Jude Bellingham’s stunning bicycle kick on the death was enough to force extra-time, where Harry Kane netted the winner to finish the comeback.
England remain within the more favourable side of the knockout draw, with Germany, France, Portugal, and Spain all in the opposite half.
Nonetheless, a large improvement will still be needed against the Swiss, who comfortably dispatched holders Italy 2-0 within the last-16.

This Euro 2024 quarter-final is about to happen on Saturday, July 6.
Kick-off is at 5pm UK time.
It would be held on the Merkur Spiel-Arena in Dusseldorf, which has held 4 games to this point – most recently, France’s 1-0 win over Belgium.
