Salt looked fearless as ever at the highest of the order for England, starting well with a 23-ball 37 against the Aussies before meagre returns against Oman and Namibia, although his innings of 12 against Oman got here off just three balls as England looked to spice up their net run rate. 87 not out against the West Indies to guide England home within the Super Eights was the highlight.
