Should you are either a young or relatively latest fan of boxing, Bloody Elbow begs you to seek out five minutes in your day to observe highlights of ‘Prince’ Naseem Hamed in motion on YouTube.

The legendary Southpaw held multiple featherweight titles within the late ’90s to early 2000s, becoming a fan favorite world wide due to his genuinely insane ring entrances and arguably the only most entertaining fighting style in all of boxing.

Now, many years after hanging up the gloves, Sami Hamed is ready to make his own entrance into the game in only just a few weeks’ time; and it’s secure to say that the son of Prince Naseem is a superstar in his own making.

Sami Hamed open to fighting Jake Paul ahead of Misfits debut

Sami Hamed, son of Prince Naseem Hamed, is ready to make his debut on August 31 on the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland, on the undercard of KSI’s 2vs1 event against TikTok star Jesse Clarke.

Earlier within the 12 months, Misfits Boxing made headlines after they held the first-ever Tag-Team match and whilst it was definitely an unusual spectacle for traditional fans of the game, it’s hard to argue that it wasn’t a blazing success for the promotion.

Speaking via the JNMEDIAUK YouTube channel following the MF x DAZN Series 17 press conference, Sami Hamed revealed that he’d be open to participating in such a novel match.

Hamed laughed as he stated it could be “madness” to see each him and brother Aadam featuring in a Tag-Team boxing matchup, before throwing out two names who could help make that occur: brothers Logan and Jake Paul.

“Big up Misfits for all the pieces they do because they’re killing it but to be honest with you, me and the broski doing the Tag-Team, I can’t see it happening, unless Logan Paul and Jake Paul fancy it.”

Whilst the potential of a Hamed vs Paul Tag-Team is likely to be barely outside the realms of reality, the possibility of a solo boxing fight between Sami and Jake is undoubtedly far closer nearby.

Unsurprisingly, given Paul’s notoriety and recognition, the son of the legendary Prince Naseem Hamed would jump at the chance to face such a well known opponent.

“This game is all about dough, this game is all about money, I’m in here for the dough and that’s the reality.

“100% it’s about legacy and all of that crack but at the identical time, if Jake Paul desired to get it on with me for a load of dough, I’d like to.”

Sami Hamed shares predictions for Jake Paul vs Mike Perry, Mike Tyson

Jake Paul is himself in training camp for his own upcoming boxing spectacle, this time against former UFC fighter and Bare Knuckle superstar ‘Platinum’ Mike Perry.

Despite being a MMA veteran with one of the crucial legendary chins in all of combat sports, Hamed expects Paul to make easy work of the BKFC icon on July 20.

“I reckon Jake Paul does him, I just think he’s too big and trains very hard. He looks massive on the minute; I’ve been taking a look at it. Jake Paul’s going to do it I reckon.”

So long as Paul doesn’t suffer a brutal KO or injury, he’ll step within the ring just a few months later to face the legendary boxer Mike Tyson on Netflix.

Given each his family’s iconic relationship with boxing and his own desire to at some point face Paul, it’s no surprise that Hamed isn’t a fan of that exact matchup being put together.

“I’d quite him not fight Mike Tyson only because Jake, as much as all of us say what we wish, I feel like he’s a dangerous man especially to those people [and] Mike’s a 60-year-old guy.

“I don’t want there to be kids on the market to think ‘Oh, Jake Paul’s a greater boxer than Mike Tyson’. So, I’d quite see it not go all the way down to inform you the reality.”

Fans can watch Sami Hamed in motion survive DAZN on August 31, ahead of the return of KSI within the essential event of the evening as he takes on each ‘Slim’ and Anthony Taylor.
