During a recent edition of her “Power Alphas” podcast, Mandy Rose commented on Mercedes Mone and the creative freedom she currently has in All Elite Wrestling.
Moreover, the previous WWE NXT Women’s Champion commented on her belief that things could also be changing for the higher in WWE with Triple H on the helm.

On Mercedes Mone: “Mercedes Mone recently did an interview, and she or he talked about having complete creative control in AEW, which I sort of knew about, I had heard previously. Someone asked her about returning to WWE, and she or he just said, ‘I actually have every part I like right away, so I’m completely happy.’ So, good for her for doing what she did, and now she’s in a position to have complete creative control, which, she was all the time big with that. I remember in WWE, if she wasn’t completely happy with something, it was hard for her to have the ability to talk out about it because [of] certain circumstances and other people weren’t gonna change it, then it was useless to even speak out since you’re just wasting your breath.”
On Mone now having creative freedom in AEW: “So I believe that’s cool, that she does have all of that creative control. I can definitely relate to her right away in a way of, yeah I’m not wrestling right away, nevertheless it is a way of really great freedom to have the ability to do whatever you would like and have that creative control, and if something comes your way, you’re in a position to do it and also you don’t need to undergo this line of individuals to get permission or whatever it’s. That’s an important feeling, especially [for] folks that have been in WWE for quite a while and sort of felt like they were restricted.”
On hoping things at the moment are changing in WWE: “I hope they’re changing a bit of bit, which they may be. But I believe that’s relatable in my aspect. Though I’m not wrestling, I do think that it’s a really freeing feeling to have the ability to do whatever you would like and create whatever you would like. The world is your oyster, and it’s cool.”
