Ranbir Kapoor, known for his stellar performances and big fan following, recently shared insights into his personal life and family dynamics on a podcast interview. The actor, who’s married to Alia Bhatt, praised the strong bond between his wife and mother, Neetu Kapoor. “My mother and Alia share a superb relationship,” Kapoor said. “They’re very honest with one another, more honest than I’m with my mother. This makes me completely happy.”
Kapoor also reflected on his relationship with Alia through the COVID-19 lockdown. He described it as a period that solidified their bond. “We stayed together during Covid, and it was the most effective time. She was there for me, even when my father was sick,” he shared.
Addressing past controversies, Kapoor acknowledged being labeled a cheater for a major a part of his life but dismissed it as not entirely true. He recalled a 2011 interview where he admitted to cheating on Deepika Padukone as a result of “immaturity and inexperience.”
