The Brazilian international can be believed to be open to creating the lucrative switch to the Middle East.

Once Richarlison is sold, Tottenham will step up their efforts for a brand new front-man with Bournemouth’s Dominic Solanke and Brentford’s Ivan Toney each potential options.

Solanke has a £65m release clause in his contract and the Cherries are determined to not sell for any less while Brentford are under increasing pressure to dump Toney, who has lower than a 12 months left on his contract.

Merry-go-round

England duo Aaron Ramsdale and Sam Johnstone are key components in a possible goalkeeper merry-go-round.

Ramsdale and Johnstone are each high on the wanted list of a lot of Premier League clubs including Wolves, Nottingham Forest and Southampton.

Johnstone wants to depart Selhurst Park after falling behind Dean Henderson within the Palace pecking order while Ramsdale has only began one Premier League game since December.

If Wolves manage to sign either shot-stopper then they are going to hearken to offers for normal primary Jose Sa while Arsenal are still keen to snare Molineux number two Dan Bentley as a Ramsdale alternative to assist their homegrown quota.

Meanwhile Newcastle are still considering a fresh move for Burnley’s James Trafford after failing to agree a fee earlier within the window so it appears to be a very good time to be a member of the goalkeeper’s union.

World Cup winner

Brighton are amongst the numerous admirers of free agent former Borussia Dortmund defender Mats Hummels.

The Seagulls wish to add an experienced head to their dressing room after losing each Adam Lallana and Pascal Gross this summer.

At 35, 4 years older than recently-appointed Seagulls boss Fabian Hurzeler, the 2014 World Cup winner Hummels actually suits the bill.

Persuading the decorated centre-back to spend his twilight years on the Sussex coast can be a serious coup given he has interest from a lot of top European leagues and the MLS.

Out of favour

It appears West Ham will soon be appointing a brand new captain with current skipper Kurt Zouma seemingly surplus to requirements.

Zouma was a somewhat controversial selection to be given the armband lower than two years after being caught on camera horrifically kicking his cat.

The Frenchman turned his image around with the Hammers faithful along with his whole-hearted displays, but talkSPORT understands club hierarchy have reservations about his value to the club attributable to an ongoing knee issue.

Technical director Tim Steidten is looking out for a brand new home for Zouma and even when he stays he’s unlikely to be a daily starter following the £40m arrival of Max Kilman from Wolves.

Kilman, who successfully skippered Wolves last season, is one choice to succeed Zouma as captain together with England winger and fans’ favourite Jarrod Bowen.
