Drop-shipping and integrated payment processing include a brand new ecommerce store platform from Polyconcept North America, or PCNA, the ecommerce subsidiary of promotional products supplier Polyconcept.
PCNA is making the e-stores available through its Givee Select ecommerce platform. PCNA says client distributors use a “set-up wizard” to launch a number of stores “inside minutes” with customized product selections from PCNA’s curated catalog of such product categories as apparel, backpacks and water bottles that their customers can personalize with their imprinted names and by color and size. PCNA says it also provides technical site set-up assistance at no charge.
Distributors that sell through the e-stores can send store links to invited guests, corresponding to an organization’s employees, to either ecommerce “gifting stores,” where guests select products to receive as gifts without making a payment, or to more traditional stores where guests pay the list product prices.
For each forms of shopping experiences, the ecommerce store operator pays a flat shipping and success fee of $9.95 per order, no matter size. PCNA lists no additional website deployment or operating fees, though it notes that site operators “only pay for items ordered in the shop” by invited store guests. To process customer payment transactions, the Givee Select platform uses its integration with the Stripe payment system.
“With the launch of our e-commerce capabilities and flat rate shipping for orders of any size, we’re dedicated to providing distributors with the tools they need,” says Neil Ringel, CEO of PCNA. “This approach enables the simple creation of versatile stores that cater to diverse customer needs, foster pride and ownership, and reduce overproduction.”
A PCNA spokeswoman didn’t immediately return a request for more information on the Givee Select platform’s technology infrastructure and any additional operating costs or revenue-generating opportunities for distributors.
PCNA says other e-store operating features include;
◾ No minimum product order quantities.
◾ The flexibility to administer multiple stores from a single platform.
◾ The flexibility to set custom product selling prices.
◾ Accept secure bank card payments via Stripe and receive funds when guests place their orders.
◾Print-on-demand product personalization by each store customer.
◾Orders drop-shipped inside 4 to seven business days.
