“I apologize that we were a bit delayed attending to you. You are not gonna imagine it based on this yard stuffed with chickens, but we had some technical difficulties,” Jost joked. He also gave an update on his injured foot, adding:

“I even have been walking in place on this yard because if I stand still, ants begin crawling contained in the wounds. Not something I anticipated.”

Jost revealed he needed to see on-site medics “each day” because his foot had not improved. While battling this problem, his woes increased with the sudden appearance of an ear infection.

In a July broadcast, Jost revealed Tahiti continued to be unwelcoming health-wise, saying: “I woke up this morning and discovered that I had added ear infection to my growing list of ailments.”

“So I’m now on three different medications — 4 in case you count piña coladas,” the SNL star joked. He kept his humorousness moving into a segment he filmed ahead of the browsing semifinals and finals, which was delayed over minor surf conditions.
