Donald Trump Slams Barack & Michelle Obama’s DNC Speeches

After their Democratic National Convention (DNC) speeches, Barack and Michelle Obama were met with loud cheers and applause. Meanwhile, Donald Trump was somewhere lower than pleased and impressed with Michelle and Obama! On Wednesday (August 21), he took a lil’ moment during a rally to call out the Obamas for getting “personal.”

In line with Politico, Donald got his lick back at Obama and Michelle while talking to a crowd in Asheboro, North Carolina.

“Did you see Barack Hussein Obama last night taking little shots? He was taking shots at your president, and so was Michelle,” Donald said. “You realize, they at all times say, ‘Sir, please follow policy, don’t get personal,’ but they’re getting personal all night, these people.”

He later asked the group whether he, too, should “get personal” or “not get personal.” His rally audience voted for private, highlighting an ongoing trend of Donald going for his opponent’s jugular.

President Joe Biden even caught some smoke on Wednesday from Trump, who called out the president’s recent “bathing suit” vacation photos.

As mentioned, the Obamas shared powerful words of their hometown, Chicago, about leadership and their faith in Vice President Kamala Harris’ vision for America.

Furthermore, the previous president and First Lady seemingly abandoned Michelle’s 2016 mantra of going high when others go low! The truth is, Michelle slammed Donnie for using the “usual con” and behaving “unpresidential.”

“Going small is petty, it’s unhealthy, and, quite frankly, it’s unpresidential,” Michelle reportedly stated, per Politico. “It’s his usual con: doubling down on ugly, misogynistic, racist lies as an alternative to real ideas and solutions that can actually make people’s lives higher.”

Elsewhere in her speech, she took aim at his previous viral comment about “Black jobs.” For context, he made the comment during his first presidential debate against former candidate President Joe Biden in June.

“Who’s gonna tell him that the job he’s currently looking for might just be one in every of those Black jobs,” Michelle stated, riling up the group!

Meanwhile, Barack touched on just a few other sore spots for Donald that Michelle didn’t! “There’s the childish nicknames, the crazy conspiracy theories, this weird obsession with crowd sizes,” Obama stated, picking at two sore spots for Donald: crowd sizes and being called “weird.”

Moreover, Mr. Obama passionately suggested that a “sequel” of Trump could be “worse.”

“We don’t need 4 more years of bluster and bumbling and chaos. We now have seen that movie before, and everyone knows that the sequel is frequently worse. America is prepared for a brand new chapter; America is prepared for a greater story. We’re ready for a President Kamala Harris and Kamala Harris is prepared for the job.”
